Skew Lattices at the Croatian Mathematical Congress

The 5th Croatian Mathematical Congress will be held this year in Rijeka, by the Istrian coast. Many are the areas of Mathematics that are discussed in these traditional meetings. This year the subject of Skew Lattices will be brought by the recent Ph.D. Joao Pita Costa with a talk entiteled Coset Laws for Skew Lattices (see abstract here). This talk will focus on an original perspective on these non commutative lattices that explores the relations between the partitions that D-classes determine in each other when considered as a lattice of maximal rectangular skew lattices. This perspective permits the characterization of several varieties of skew lattices important in today's discussions.
